The primary purpose of this three-step peel system is to target and repair UV damage. However, it can also effectively address various problematic skin concerns. The system incorporates a potent combination of active ingredients, including Kojic Acid, Mandelic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Retinol, and Emblica. It is important to note that this treatment is not suitable for pregnant or lactating women.

General Questions
How often should you get a chemical peel?
For optimal results, we suggest a course of 3-6 peels done at fortnightly intervals. A bespoke treatment plan will be recommended based on your skin type and concerns.
What skin concerns can Aspect peels treat?
Aspect Dr peels can effectively address a range of skin conditions, such as overall skin rejuvenation, tone/texture, pigmentation, hydration, fine lines and wrinkles, acne, and congestion.
Aspect Dr pre-treatment expectations
To ensure the best possible outcome, please come to your appointment without wearing makeup. Additionally, we recommend avoiding excessive sun exposure two weeks before your appointment. Refrain from exfoliating, waxing, or undergoing hair removal treatments in the area for 2 weeks before your appointment, and take prophylactic medication if you are prone to cold sores. Finally, to optimise your results, avoid drinking alcohol and stay well-hydrated for at least two days before your appointment.
Aspect Dr peel aftercare
After your treatment, you may experience some heat, redness, and peeling of the skin, depending on your skin condition and the products used during the treatment. Here are some important aftercare instructions to follow to ensure optimal results:
- Wait at least two weeks before undergoing any peels, IPL, laser, or facial treatments that are not prescribed by the clinic
- Avoid strenuous exercise and heat, such as saunas, LED treatments, and hot showers for at least 24 hours after the treatment.
- Avoid using products that contain AHA’s, Vitamin A, scrubs, or enzymes for five days
- Refrain from scrubbing, exfoliating, or massaging the treated area aggressively for three days.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure, and use daily SPF to protect your skin
- Do not pick, scratch, or peel the skin
- Stay hydrated to keep skin hydrated and promote healing

Are Aspect Dr treatments and products safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding?
The lactobotanical peel is the only peel within the Aspect Dr professional range that is considered safe for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding. In terms of skincare products, all of them are generally deemed safe for use during pregnancy, except those that contain salicylic acid and retinols. Your Aesthetiqué Medical practitioner will help guide you towards which products are appropriate and safe for you.
