The Treatment
Forma V is a technology that aims to improve women's health and can be combined with EMSELLA, which works on tightening the pelvic floor muscles to enhance muscle tone. This comfortable treatment offers uniform radiofrequency (RF) heating of both the internal vaginal tissue and external vulva and labia. It can be used externally to improve vulval laxity and/or labial hypertrophy (looseness or enlargement of the labia). Results can be achieved immediately post treatment with continued improvement over time. It is a minimally invasive and versatile solution that can be customised to meet individual patient needs.

How many treatments are required?
The number of Forma V sessions you need will depend on several factors, including your individual treatment goals, the degree of laxity or labial hypertrophy you would like to adjust, and your body’s response to the treatment.
Typically, we recommend a minimum of three sessions to to achieve optimal results, performed once a month for three months.
Maintenance treatments will differ from patient to patient. In general, we recommend maintenance treatments every 6-12 months. Our Aesthetiqué Medical practitioners will help to determine a maintenance plan for you.

Are there any contraindications to receiving Forma V?

- History of vaginal prolapse or vaginal mesh

- Presence of an intrauterine device (IUD) or other contraceptive device

How long does it take to see results and what are the expected results?
Forma V treatment provides immediate tightening results that improve over the following weeks. External tissue appears more rejuvenated, and the vaginal canal continues to tighten and become firmer. You will notice increases in natural lubrication and a decrease in symptoms of urinary stress incontinence.
Am I a good candidate for Forma V?
Women who suffer from vaginal laxity and related issues like urinary stress incontinence, vaginal dryness, or reduced sexual sensation are good candidates for Forma V treatment. What can I expect during the treatment and how long does it take to complete?
The Forma V device monitors heat levels during treatment to ensure your comfort. The Forma V applicator is inserted into the vaginal canal after lubrication and exterior vulva to deliver RF energy. Heat will be released from the wand which stimulates the tightening process.
The duration of your rejuvenation procedure will be determined by the extent of rejuvenation required. Typically, it can be completed within 30 minutes.
What is the downtime?
After Forma V treatment, mild tenderness, spotting, and mild swelling in the treated area may occur. However, most women can resume their normal activities immediately.
What is the aftercare post?
To allow for full healing, it is recommended to avoid sexual intercourse for one week after treatment.
